W7R3 - What a treat - a daylight run!!

Yesterday, for the first time in 21 runs I actually got out in daylight.

My usual route is on back lanes with no pavements or streetlights. Yesterday I did the same route but actually managed to dodge the showers (well nearly)... and get out in daylight - what a revelation - so much easier when you can see where you're going and there's actually something to look at apart from a head torch view of the tarmac ahead.

Distance went up, average pace improved. Fortunately no snow where I am so apart from a slight soaking the conditions were ideal. Week 8 beckons - and next friday is still looking good for graduation!!!!

Twenty runs in the dark! That's some dedication you have there. I doubt I'd be able to muster it up. What a lovely place to run in though (when you can actually see it!). Hope week 8 goes well - you are on the home stretch now.
