Just graduated yesterday (Sunday), so I will be consolidating with three 30 min/5K runs this week (Tues/Thurs/Sat), hoping the weather will be decent. No snow here (North-West France), but a lot of rain and wind right now.
Yes will hopefully get outside later in the week. Incidentally my mum lives on the southern coast of the UK and she says the wind and rain is incredible so don’t get blown away
Did my last run on a treadmill and think I’ll do today’s on the treadmill too as the pavements are really icy. So strange to think that in a matter of a few runs I have gone from being really nervous about running outside to now where I can’t imagine anything better than running outside!! Yaaaaaaayyy!! Thanks to those who encouraged me a few weeks ago to get out
Awwww mannn, this has been murder. Last month I ran over 100km. Since then I've had a head cold followed an infection in my sinuses. I did manage a run last Sunday, but I've not done anything for more than a week now. I'm hoping that this sinus thing will finally disappear this week and I can get back out there.
Hope others are having a better time of it. It's hard work being out of action.
I haven’t run for 2 weeks, for various reasons but mainly due to snow. Hoping to go out today. My next run is supposed to be W5R3, but I guess I should start at W5R1 again?
Haven't been on here for a while, due to work committements but it's nice to be back and reading everyone's progress !!
So once more I was set to work in a property in Vietnam which was surrounded by hills, I decided not to take my running shoes and to take a rest after working, which would be 4 days not running........ But at the last minute I changed my mind and threw the trainers into the suitcase. ..... By the second day I was running!!!! And so glad I did it was an amazing run....and my pace has changed !!!!! I felt lighter and faster.... !! Not only that I encouraged another woman there to start the C25K ! She was clearly trying to start some exercise and I started to talk about the programme and my own journey. She was so motivated !! So share share with others !
