I can’t believe how this is working, it’s obviously a well proven process as I am gaining stamina and no longer feel when is this running phase going to end, I actually felt like I was being pushed along today like a sail boat, Well I was running on shoreham beach 😀 but I promise there was no wnd behind me. I hope I have not jinxed it all now, but those starting out just believe in yourself it really does get easier as long as you stick to the formula, my one bit of advice would be try and find a good route , circular if possible.
One question I have is do people count the time in their heads, not sure if this is something that encourages you or distracts you. I’ve found it better to avoid counting and leave it to Lora to update you

I would stop concentrating on time and find another distraction..................unless you like very big numbers.
I use the NHS app to keep me informed of time (Michael Johnson is very strict!), I also use mapmyrun to record distance and mins per mile, and I use Spotify for my music.
I love running almost as much as my Iphone!

Well done, you are doing great. 😄 I remember that halfway point well.
I try to avoid counting in my head, so I let Laura do all of that.
I am starting week5 tomorrow.personally i find it REALLY off putting when they pipe up half way through...i only want to know when its done!!!also.when they say " i know you may be getting TIRED" or "i know this might be DIFFICULT" I find this really off putting as it makes me feel more tired!!!
The halfway announcement is to enable those who are doing an out and back run, to know when to turn back. If you don't want the commentary, you could set up each workout as intervals on Runkeeper.
