I’m doing this on a treadmill. I’m sure others don’t like but works for me. Just finished week 1 and wondering what speed others set for walk and jog? I know it will vary from person to person just wanted a rough idea. Thanks.

I did most of my C25K on treadmill. I did mine at around 3.44 for the warmup/down and 4.33 for the jog = running bout 14 minutes per mile. However we all different so it’s at the pace that you feel comfortable at. You will soon find what u can do or whether u need to slow down. The important thing is do it at the pace that u can do that days session to the end.

Good luck it’s an amazing programme. I started from scratch after no exercise for years. I graduated last week 😍. It can be done

Thanks. Think mine is in km but it doesn’t feel comfortable! Think I might be going but too quick.

If you feel it’s too much then slow down - I used Sarah Millican and she always said the important thing was to finish each running session. U will find your own pace as u follow the programme

I don't believe the speed settings on treadmills, and don't think that they are consistent across models. It would be better to approach it with trial-and-error to see what works best for you. So follow the great advice from Joruss .

I’ve done all my C25K on a treadmill so far. I’m about to start Week 8. I set my walking pace for 5.5 km/h and run at 7.5 km/h. I sometimes jump to 10km/h if I’m feeling good towards the end. Just keep playing with the speeds till you find one that fits. Don’t forget to incline to about 1% to mimic wind resistance. Good luck.

Hiya I completed a lot of runs on a treadmill . Usually walk at 5kph and jog around 7kph . U started st faster speeds but as the weeks went by I struggled on the longer runs . At this pace I can manage 40 mins however outside I just run and go for it without the worry of speed . Treadmill c25k is doable and enjoyable xx
