I think I worked out that we need to run at a pace of 6.2mph to complete a 5k in 30 mins. Personally I’m nowhere near that and am struggling on at 5.3mph. Everyone will be different x

If you are struggling, then slow down.

To graduate you just need to run for thirty minutes three times. You don't have to run 5k in 30 minutes.

As explained in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you need to jog at a pace at which you can still speak aloud clear ungasping sentences as you run. You don't need to know what speed others are doing........it is your journey.

Just adjust the treadmill to your own comfortable pace.

I go on 6 which is a jog for me. I’m definitely not worried about how long it takes just delighted when I complete it!

Start slow and find the right pace for you. There will be a point around 6kmh/4mph when you naturally move from a brisk walk to a jog, use that as a start point and then work up or down. You will find your own correct pace. I found it helpful to add a little incline to the treadmill (1-1.5%), that makes it a little more challenging, but easier to transition back to the road.
