It was back to running on muddy country lanes for today's run and I found it difficult to keep my feet and find a decent rhythm. However I persevered and helped by the excellent New Jersey rockers the Gaslight Anthem ended up doing just over the 30 minutes and 4.4k. Just one week left then time to start thinking about what's next!!! π
Week 8 Run 3 DONE : It was back to running on... - Couch to 5K
Week 8 Run 3 DONE
Nice pace and nice run too even though the lanes were muddy.well done
By the way Jan, your blog is the best and funniest thing I have seen on the interweb in many a long year π
Thank you very kind of you to say so, it keeps me off the streets! Actually I need to go on the streets to write it, but you know what I mean...
Well done! Only 1 run behind me π I'm wondering what to do next, too. Thinking of trying to incorporate some more uppy-downy routes as mine are pretty flat at the moment. Also, I'm going to do the local Parkrun π
Hey, I'm definitely doing park runs, probably going to stick to no more than 5k until the new year then decide the best way of getting to 10k which is the aim by next summer.
I'd also like to get to being able to chat while I run π I miss the interval walks where I could chat to my Stepdad π I'd like to progress to 10k too. Looking at apps to see what's around, but also think I'd like to get my pace up. So many new ideas, thankfully my Stepdad is keen to continue coming out with me, which is lovely π He's suggested doing some triathlon type exercise to change things about a bit π
Well done Chris, Mr Consistancy πππππ
Well done. Wish I could cracking this run. Have tried twice now and haven't managed it....think I have runners block. Stupid I know as I managed R1 and 2.
