Week 5 - I did it ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

W5R3 is in the bag and I absolutely canโ€™t believe Iโ€™ve just run for 20 mins non-stop. I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat and when Sarah (Millicam - love her, my celebrity coach) announced time up; I actually teared up with joy. How daft is that. Iโ€™m super chuffed with myself today. For me, itโ€™s not the mental challenge of running for longer, itโ€™s my leg. I had a very bad leg injury a few years ago which has left me with residual damage, and it aches when Iโ€™m running but it is def getting easier the longer I run. It just goes to show how amazing this programme is. And Tx to all of you my fellow C25K ers - your support is so great to have. Happy weekend runners ๐Ÿ˜˜

Fantastic! I think this is a huge milestone for us newbies! Iโ€™m at almost the same stage, doing W6R1 today.

That will be me next week hopefully. Thanks for sharing. I have to admit the prospect of running for 20 minutes is a bit unbelievable, even though everyone keeps saying it will be fine. i get so out of breath on the slopes and hilly bits, and I too have the residue of a (very serious) leg injury,, but I will take encouragement from your achievement. Well done and thank you so much for sharing! X

I know you will be ok; enjoy your surroundings, focus on your breathing and believe in yourself. And smile at your new found ability. It works for me and I donโ€™t care what people might think haha . It just feels so good to have gotten this far ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰

Flick M3,

Trust me, you will be fine! I really think the 20 mins is the best point, it proves how good the plan is and how ready you really are even though physiologically it still seems impossible. Let me know how u get on! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
