Got this one done. Ran really, really, really slowly....
I found listening to an audio book really took my mind off my breathing, temperature etc., but this may be why I was so slow?!!๐บ๐โโ๏ธ

Well done! I did this run today too! Went after work instead of early morning! My legs and feet felt very tired but I kept going! I love my music but an audio book sounds like a good idea! ๐
Thanks Sara. Normally Iโm a radio 2 listener, but tried the book to take my mind off all those little niggles. It did work but I was quite slow.
Do you mind running when itโs getting dark? I much prefer weekend mornings now, about 8.30am.
Good luck and good running. ๐โโ๏ธ๐โ๏ธ
Iโm a radio 2 listener too! But I make playlists on Spotify to listen to on my runs!
I much prefer going out in morning and I donโt mind the dark as I run on well lit streets and itโs nice and quiet.
Iโm not so keen on dark evenings!
Iโm off work on Thursdays so I drive and treat myself to a nice coastal run!! In the light!!! And on a Sunday I go out about 8.30 am!
Iโm hoping I keep going after Iโve graduated!! I like the structure of the programme!! ๐
I run along a towpath and the only real hazards are the puddles and swans. I donโt mind the half light, but am not going out in the dark in the rain - no way!
I must work out how to make playlists another of lifeโs little challenges!
Happy running ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐บ
Good running! And slow is good - slow builds stamina. Plenty of time to work on speed once you graduate, if you fancy it.
Longer runs require mental stamina and distraction is a great technique. Keep doing what you're doing - sounds like it is working a treat. ๐
Sadie-runs (pretty slowly)
