So I was doing well, just about to hit week 6. Then oops, pneumonia hits.

I’m still ill with it, waiting for the antibiotics to do their job. But does anybody in the running community have any advice of when I can start running again? I’ve ready it can take up to 6 months to get better from this 😩

Sounds dreadful. It took my husband a very long time... he was older though.. but, it can be a very long job as it is so debilitating.

Medical advice and support will be the only way to ensure you are clear of the pneumonia and obviously after finishing your treatment and when you are sent for your next x ray , it will show that :)

Then taking medical advice and building back really slowly....only your doctor will be able to determine when it is okay to start again... just take it steady, and get better.... the runs will wait :)
