Fab frosty morning to complete W5. last 10 mins were incline πŸ™ which I could definitely feel in my calves & shins, but all good. Can’t believe I 🐒 jogged for 20 mins. Really need to work on more warm ups on lower legs though. W6 next week 😜

Well done for completing week 5, the increases seem to be shorter from now on so hopefully you've cracked it.

Ive done run 2 but have now had to take an enforced rest for a few weeks while my eye repairs so will probably start this week again on my return. Good luck and onwards and upwards.

Thank you, we can still keep tabs on each other’s journey, I’ve no doubt you’ll catch up soon. πŸ˜‰

How are you doing now, did the op go well? You make sure you take enough time to recover. πŸ˜€

Thanks, detached retina and cataract surgery, all gone well (I hope) but obviously I now need to take it easy. Not allowed to have raised blood pressure etc for a few weeks and therefore vigorous exercise is out.

Sounds painful 😣, hopefully recovery will go well, make sure you take it easy and ensure you have the rest you need. Catch up with you soon πŸ™‚

Completing that 20 min run is one of the best feelings isn’t it. I was on a real high for a couple of days and kept reminding myself that I can now run for 20 mins without stopping πŸ˜ƒ

I think it is definitely the turning point of the program.

Well done 😊

Thank you I did feel good knowing I completed it, I really thought I would struggle ( well it wasn’t easy πŸ˜‚) Last ten mins were on an incline, I live in the Welsh Valleys so no flat areas to run from my home. Lovely views though Think I’ll try next run Sunday, I can drive to flat area then. 😜
