After swimming a total of 2.5km over 5 days and 90 minutes of legs arms and core with the PT decided I really should do a bit of running after all you can’t give advice when you are not doing it yourself anyway at 7:15 I got out the door started stopwatch for 5 minute warm up temp 4 degrees with 10 mph westerly started Garmin and we’re off decided on walk/run today ran 1km and slowed to walk and here comes the embarrassment a lady of senior years ran past me on her down leg and all she she had as cold weather proctection was a pair of gloves where as I had a top and running jacket anyway finished 1 km walk and went for 2km run did that then walked 2 km so all in 6km done longest distance for quite a while going to try similar next week but increase by 1km.

Embarrassed by a Senior Citizen
Wasn't me 😄 But while out this morning I passed 2 male runners on the trail in winter gear mode, including hats, gloves, long trousers. Me? Thin vest and very thin long sleeved tee and capris.
I wonder if men are colder blooded than us ladies. I do a 10k race in early December and it’s noticeable how covered some guys are. Running coats? 😁. Vest and capris for me.
I always used to feel cold before i got into running. Saves a fortune on heating bills as I’m always turning the stat down 👍
Might have been me.......
I like running tourism and run hot.
Define ‘senior years’ if you would please?
I would say anyone 10 years younger than my mother who is 81 but even I could be classed as a senior citizen and I am only 55.
Not me then, Im a young 60 yrs x
Ps .... we are BOTH too young to be classed Senior these days..... i think as a general guide you would need to be state pension age as a starting point. I have 7 yrs to go😳
You probably have another 30 yrs to go😥
Personally I think it is just a name to give people I found it amusing to classed as a service veteran at the age of 42 when the true veterans are the ones who came home from conflict.
I like to think I am more an OG than a "Senior Citizen" 😂😂😂
I think it might be 'Outstandingly Gregarious'😉
