I have just completed my first 5K πŸ˜ƒ here in Florida, having not finished my C25K training( I’m at W8R2) due to having a fall( not run related) it was a daunting prospect ( not run for two weeks)made more daunting by the early start, up at 3a.m to be taken by bus to Animal Kingdom which we were running through. It was amazing! I had Oldfoss talking in my head telling me slow and steady, now I have never met Oldfloss and I have no idea what she sounds like but being a relative newbie to this forum I find she is the voice of calmness, encouragement, she puts your sensible head on you when it’s needed. So thank you Oldfloss for keeping me slow and steady and to everyone here for their stories and support. Good luck to you all on your runs todayπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Congratulations, sounds like a fantastic place for your first 5K. You obviously understand the way to success - slow and steady as Oldfloss says.
