So, like many others on here the running gear bug is well and truly under my skin. I bought a pair of these sleeves to see if they would help my varicose veins . Does anyone else use them? I think I use more calories getting them on and off than I do in my runs 😊 I must say I liked the enclosed feeling of support, but naive question coming up - should I remove them immediately post run ? I have this fear of seeing my legs swell to twice the size once the compression is released!
Calf compression sleeves yes? No?: So, like many... - Couch to 5K

I don't use them but Mr SC does as he does Ironman and does a lot of training. He tends to put them on after a run but I do know that some triathletes will run in them. I don't know what impact they will have on varicose veins (someone else here may though) as my husband tends to use them when he needs his legs (which are pure muscle) to recover.

I don't use them, but based on what I've read, SC1472 's husband is not alone in preferring them for recovery rather than during exercise. It does appear that that is where most people tend to think they see benefits.
