Out last night running through the hoards of trick or treaters ๐ŸŽƒ covered 4.6 km in my 30 min run. Still listening to Mr Smooth and wondering what to do now Iโ€™ve graduated. Loving the running so just went for it in a slightly better time of 6.4 mins pace per km.

You really are running at a cracking pace Carolyn.

How about running for just that tad longer to get to the 5k mark and use that for consolidation, maybe even a park run or two

I plan to do another park run on 11th (poppy run) but will do my warm up walk to the start and run the course if I can ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Well done on your post graduation run; you really are fast! Agree with rolysmate, you could run a 5K now! I am still very slow, I run at about 8.40 per km but am gradually getting faster. Keep on running! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

I have no idea what is fast. I know I was near the back of the runners at the park run I did on Saturday ๐Ÿ˜‚

Just keep running, get into a regular routine and consolidate for a while before thinking of what to do next. But the world's your blah blah. You can do whatever you want, just take it easy and remember you're a very new runner still, so don't do too much too soon.

Well done you. The first couple of runs I did after graduation I still listened to Mr Smooth but also put the Mapmyrun on as well so that I could run the 5K. When the 30 mins was up and was told to do the cool down walk I just kept on running until the 5K was up on the Mapmyrunand then did an extra 5 min or so walk. I found this pushed me a bit more to achieve 5K and I have improved my time to about 34 minutes. I am going to carry on doing this for a couple more runs I think and then maybe do the graduate app.

Hi, can you tell me what the graduate app is? Is this something for after the c25k app? Tia x

I think people do some of the C25K+ podcasts to start with and then try the Bridge to 10K app. I am not sure about wanting to do 10K I am quite satisfied with 5K at the moment but thought I would do some of the early week runs and see how I feel. I am also going to do a Parkrun as often as I can as well.

Ah okay great thank you! Iโ€™ve not long finished c25k and didnโ€™t know where to go from there. I might continue to run 5k for now โ˜บ๏ธ

I think that is what I am going to do for a while. Just enjoying running and getting to 5K is enough for me at the moment! Great feeling isnt it? xx

I track my runs on my Fitbit app and the penny has just dropped that it tells me when I've done each km! Will give it a go to try and get to 5k
