Was going to put that title the other way round but as I really do feel that my C25K experience is the start of something new then Wk9 is just the end of the beginning of my running journey.
Was determined to get this run in today as I'd like R3 to be during daylight somewhere nice at the weekend. As it was didn't leave work until after 6.30 then had to take daughter 2 to band practice but like I say determined - so off I set dodging trick or treaters along the way.
At 5 minutes I felt dreadful - but have to credit IannodaTruffe for providing me with the nerve to always keep going when the gremlins kick in early - I just tell myself it's the 'toxic ten' minutes I can't worry about how it's going until I've been running for that long - and it worked again - by 10 minutes was into my stride (get me!) ... And I just have to say 30 MINUTES! πππSmashed it! So so chuffed and slightly disbelieving - no way I'd have thought it possible 10 weeks ago!
Can't thank all of you on here enough for the support that's got me this far. Please keep on inspiring me with all your amazing efforts and I reckon I might just make it to graduation.

Oh wow, that's so positive, and just what I needed to hear as I have the same run tomorrow morning at some ungodly hour!
I'm so pleased to see you get this far, and I think you've done amazingly, juggling your running with a busy job and family. So really well done, proud of you!
Ah Neil that's so kind - though do think we're all juggling like mad to cope with our lives and all doing well to even think about taking on a new challenge!
I'll be cheering you on at whatever the ungodly hour is tomorrow - but know you can do it as you've been determined throughout.
That finish line is in sight and you've so got this!
Oh this is very exciting! Week 9 is a joy. Well done on what sounds like an amazing run. It's a lovely feeling, finding your stride. Well done and onwards and upwards! The podium awaits. πππββοΈ
No worries, was quite nice to be reminded of this post - I'm still running - though post more often on Bridge to 10k now - though first 10k is also pretty historic.
