W8R2 Fail!

Oh no, I set off so excited this morning this was going to be a great run! Lovely weather, no hurry everything was perfect until I tried to run up a hill! I haven’t tried this hill before but I was sure I could do it. How wrong I was! I took it slow and steady but 3/4 of the way up I couldn’t breathe and suddenly got a really bad headache. I was thinking what shall I do, and could hear Oldfloss and others from this forum shouting ‘STOP’ so I stopped and walked for a few minutes and the headache went and I could breathe again. Managed to finish the run at a very slow pace. I am so disappointed. I will beat that hill though (but probably need to get a bit fitter first). Hope you all had better runs. xx

Don't worry, learn the lessons and move on.

You could have just turned round and run back down. In fact why not do this as part of your runs. Each time try to get a bit further.

Please don't use the "F" word!

I did consider turning around but didn’t want the hill to beat me! However in retrospect this would have been a really good idea, I will try this next time.

Apologies for the use of the ‘f’ word and thanks for your reply 😁

Aagh Jenny!! No f word - at worst you had an unavoidably interrupted practice Run. (UIPR). :)

PS I did not run ANY hills until after graduation. You are well ahead of the game! :)
