Tried yesterday but within 2 mins my legs were like lead, quite unlike anything before. I couldn’t get my head together. So I aborted the attempt, determined to succeed today. Which I’ve just done! Woo-hoo!
Advice please- if I’m struggling and want to slow down, is it better to keep the pace timing and shorten the stride, or keep the stride distance and slow the rhythm (does that make sense?)

I've read that you're less likely to experience knee pain if you shorten your stride, but I'm no expert. Maybe experiment a bit with both and see what feels most comfortable on your body?
Do not even think about altering your stride.. just run the way you always do and just slow down...altering your stride or the way you land can result in injury ..
This is a great journey... take your time and enjoy it
