I have made it to the step before the big one. Already psyching myself up to run 20 minutes without a break on Sunday! Cannot believe it’s possible but if Laura says I can, then who am I to contradict her? :)

My one concern is speed. I know she keeps saying to go slow, but when I look at my run breakdown/splits it’s clear that I go faster when I’m striding along walking then when I am running! Surely that cannot be right?

It definitely possible 👍its a great program & slow & steady still the best so it helps to avoid injuries, trust Laura & im the same im sure i can walk faster but my body is used to me walking & there isn’t the same strain on your joints. Speed & distance can all be built up later in time!! Better to get through the program without injury! Enjoy your Sunday run you will smash it😊

Probably.... :)

And.. Laura does know.. she had me running at 155 this morning on a Speed podcast.. nearly finished me.. I am used to moving much faster...BUT.. we do what she says... when she says it!

So :) You are going to do this.. no problem :) Just take it as it comes:)

Plenty of time to think about speed later.

I am very slow too, but my current aim is to complete this excellent program and reach a place of enjoying running for 30 mins. I might begin to think about speed after that.... but probably won't!!😁

Keep on with the slow and steady and you'll get through this, you can worry about pace later

You're doing fine, running is a different motion so probably most of us had the same issue as you at one stage or another. Pace comes later, we promise. Good luck for tomorrow, but I am sure you will be fine as you have been all the way through
