So what do you do when you look at your exercise app after 28 minutes of running, feeling awesome, and none of it has registered????!!!! How do I know how far I went?? Is there a simple way to calculate this bar looking at a map?

Oh dear.! I know it's annoying when that happens and best to scream, shout and swear but move on

If you can remember your start and finish time (just by chance 🙂) you oils, work, outmyour pace and distance from goodrunguide

It doesn't really matter though, about time, distance, speed, blah blah if you're doing couch to 5k. As long as you completed the session that's it! 🙂

Which exercise app are you using? On many you can log a run manually. I use MapmyRun, this morning I did same as you! However mine is a route I have used lots so I just logged it myself. If you run it again you can add a run in for today, it will log it in the correct date order.

I'm using a rapidly infuriating Sony lifelog app. Have the smart band to go with it which is useless. I'm switching brand loyalty! Thanks for the tip 👍👍

The free versions of MMR, and several others used by forum members, seem to do everything you need.

You can measure your route on Google Maps.

Zoom in to your running route area on the map, click on your start point to drop a 'pin' on the map, then right click on the pin and select 'measure distance'. You can then click on various points to form your route and it will show you the distance you've run.

If you did 28 minutes that’s good? Have you graduated?
