Can I ask how you get a record of time, distance, elevation of the run/walk please? I use Strava in conjunction, set to run, which isn't the case during the walks but don't want to worry about fiddling with my phone during a run. I'd love to have it all in one app. C25K, Strava, Spotify, dog poo bags, keys, tissue....oh, dog's looking bored by now!

Go to "settings" on your app, just tick the boxes you want to set such as time, pace, distance etc.

Thank you, AlMorr, but there are only options to change trainer, next run reminder, goals or reset app - which loses all my runs to date (W6 R2). I'd send a screenshot but can't see an option on here.

Are you using the NHS C25K or a different one?

Yes, I used the C25K app for all the 9 weeks of C25K

I am now using Mapmyrun as my running assistant with all the features that I mentioned on my first post to you, if you do not get any results on Strava try Mapmyrun. 😊 🏃

Go to the settings on Strava and see if it will detect between walking and running 😊

Don't worry about it at this stage, just record as "run" but when you look at your pace analysis you can see where the run/walk sections change. If you want to you could only start Strava towards the end of your 5 min warm up and stop just as you begin your cool down which will show you more of your "run" period but it is quite obvious if you look at pace.

Personally I didn't worry too much until I graduated then I stopped including warm ups/ cool downs to get a clearer picture.

Thanks GoGo_JoJo. Yes, I'm doing the start/stop you suggested on Strava but haven't yet looked at pace analysis - will now do so.
