A Wet postgraduate run

Lazy Sunday morning. When we were eventually ready to run it just started to rain. Ho hum off we went anyway. No music just map my run on my arm to tell when 5k was reached. Felt lovely and free running a nice route, the one with a hill that I did my 20 minute run on. Ran all the way back to partners house this time to make it 5k again. Feel so accomplished and amazed at my pace. Avg 6.48 I must have wanted to get back out of the rain! Found the first part of run strange with no music and was wondering if I was going too fast but kept going and am finding a good stride now it helps knowing in your mind that you’ve followed the program so you CAN do it. Practice makes perfect so lots more runs to be done and enjoy seeing how I’ve done each time. Nearly thawed out now while cooking Sunday dinner. Wasn’t long ago I posted about wearing too many clothes!

Nicely done 😊. I've ran a few times without music ("naked") but am not a huge fan. I enjoy the distraction my music gives. That being said, it's good to change it up and listen to the body and feel the run for what it is. Sounds like a lovely run.
