Out at 6.30am in the cool of the morning. What a beautiful country we live in. 8 different species of birds, rabbits darting into the hedgerow, people waking up and going about their business, milkman, postie, dog walkers....runner (me! 😊). Just loving being out, taking in lungfuls of fresh country air and feeling the growing strength in my legs. Have a great day everyone! ☀️🏃‍♀️😊

Well done. Great feeling free to run what you want. What are you planning to do from here on?

Well I have my parkrun barcode printed out but just have to pluck up courage to go and enter! I have not run with other people before... In the meantime I plan to just keep repeating W9R3 ie 30 minutes run but changing my route. How about you?

Good plan.

I’ve done two 30 minute runs a week with a 33, 36, or 40 one building to a 5k in about 43 minutes over the first three weeks. Now I’m doing 4k, 4k, 5k to get used to running that distance regularly. When I can I will do the Bridge to 10k but I’m just not fit enough for it yet.

Hmm that sounds like a very well thought out plan. 😊 I don’t feel ready for 10k either yet. But it is a long term goal. Good luck Jay! 😊

You too. The most important thing is finding the right challenge to keep putting the gear on.
