Plagued by injury now illness starting week 7

After week 5 I had Achilles' tendon problems . I took advice and didn't run for 1 week . I started week 6 but left 3 days between runs and did week 6 run 3 on Sunday , I really struggled with running for 25 minutes and must confess I had to walk for 1-2 minutes on 2 occasions Was planning on running on Tuesday but dreaded noro virus has struck. I know I won't be able to run until at least Saturday and probably best leaving it till Sunday. I'm not sure what to do should I go back to the start of week 6 again , has anyone else been in this position . I would welcome advice

First.. if you have had the NoroVirus...make sure you feel completely well.. and are back to normal :)

Then after all your issues, maybe it is an idea to just take Week 6 again slowly, and steadily and just use it as a return to running week..it will let you know if you are feeling okay and will give you confidence:)

Thanks for the advice that seems sensible and I know I can do week 6 so it will give me my confidence back as well

Oh you poor thing you have been through the mill lately :(

Don't even think about running till you are 100% recovered from that nasty bug.

I'd say listen to OldFloss she's an expert.....start week 6 again very gently.
