Been there been scared, did it! Graduated 3 weeks ago just hit a glitch though as jumping the waves in Cyprus and got knocked off my feet and twisted my knee!! IC for me I think!!! 😢
It can be a great one, it's the first (and only run so far!) that brought me to tears of exhilaration on finishing it, and apparently I'm not the only one! If you think of it as a challenging but fantastic thing you are going to go out there and do then you will be fine and you may even get to join the crying (or whooping) in the park club! Enjoy it, you really can do it....
As long as you have rested and warmed up properly before the run and you take it slow and steady you will be absolutely fine. Trust me; if I can you can.

Woah!!! Don’t think about it, just do it...leave those gremlins at home...you CAN do it...it’s a mental challenge rather than physical, if you’ve completed all the runs you are DEFINITELY prepared & ready for this one, music on, shoulders back!! 😉

It’s ok.
I was really worried about this one, struggled with my breathing for the first 5 mins, I think I was just panicking as I’d not struggled so far. I thought I was already going slow but I slowed even more, also the music on my phone changed tempo which helped, once I got into my stride and sorted out my breathing I won’t say it was a breeze but it was far better than I expected it to be.
Tomorrow I attempt week 6 run3 25 mins😳

Don’t look at the next run times, just do it. The more you ponder the more you wake up the gremlins. And as my wk5 Run 3 is on Friday, I’m not thinking about the I wonder if I can do it bit. I’m telling myself , yeah I can do this like I’ve done the other runs and the program has prepared me for it! You can do it, don’t ponder !
