I have truly enjoyed my first holiday run. After setting my alarm for 7am, I was actually quite excited to run in Rhodes, so much so I was wide awake by 6.30. Which was lovely as I got to enjoy the beginnings of the sunrise from my balcony. Headed out by 7am to beautiful cooling winds which were just perfect. Completed w4R3 run without a thought of stopping entering my mind. Timing was amazing as my last 5 min run ended right by a pathway down onto the beach front. Which is where I did my cool
down walk & then sat enjoying the view & took this stunning photo. Note my trainers strategically sneaking in on the photo. I won't be doing another run whilst I'm here though, mainly due to alcohol consumption and planned trips. But can honestly say it was one of the best single hrs of my holiday. Knowing I can manage a run in these temperatures has boosted my confidence massively. Now I'll be tackling W5rR1 with gusto when I get back....... I need to work off all these all inclusive calories.
Enjoy your runs π

Beautiful photo! Some of my favourite runs have been when I am on holiday. The best run ever was round the harbour in Sydney watching the sunrise over the Opera House. I also did a lovely one in Spain again watching the sunrise. I find the early mornings very inspiring to run in and it just sets me up for the day. I have now vowed to take my trainers every time I go away and run! Well done on your holiday run and carry on the good work. Only a few more runs to go! xx
