Storm permitting

Well I’m back home in gorgeous Northern Ireland and I have even been out to check out my route for tomorrow W5 D1 but I’m now a tad concerned as the tail end of storm Ophelia is about to hit our shores in the morning!! If all is good at 7am I’m out but if not I might have to delay it for a day I will let you all know but I’m hopeful to get out as I don’t want to lose my routine 🙁☔️🌪🌫

Hope it's OK for you, but don't take any risks.

I can understand you not wanting to disrupt your routine but if in doubt it's better to be patient and wait until it's safe.

Fingers crossed for you!

I'm in the Isle of Man and they are predicting an 80mph hoolie tomorrow, perhaps even stronger with you. I think we are getting more than the tail end! I think I'll wait until Tuesday....

Might change direction and miss us all with any luck! 🍀

If you are going out make sure your run is in the same direction as the wind. With a hurricane at your back and winds of over 80 mph you should get a PB no problem.😂

stay safe, I think tomorrow will be awful. I have to drive to Galway tomorrow from Navan. If I could stay put and not stick my head outside the door I would.

Thank you 😂 the wind at my back would be wonderful pity I have to change direction to get back to the car!! We will see what it’s like in the morning! You drive carefully and stay safe 😇

Thanks. Schools are all closed here tomorrow. Officially a Red weather warning. Outpatient appointments in Hospitals are all cancelled too. Never seen a Nationwide red weather warning before.

What? I’ve just got in from my run (wk5r1) here in South Wales, not a breath of wind! Just checked the weather forecast, I think we must be in a little protected pocket!! Good luck all of you in the path of the storm!

I think 7 am would have been fine as it is the proverbial 'calm before the storm' at the moment. I think they are expecting Ophelia to kick off in the afternoon and continue through the evening. Stay safe folks.
