I graduated a week ago, completing W9R3 at the end of having a cold, well I thought it was the end of the cold! This last week I’ve still had symptoms and felt unusually tired.
I planned to get back to it today but woke up still feeling bit heavy headed and tired. It’s a weird cold, expected to be over it by now! I haven’t been off work but have had it for 2 weeks!
The symptoms now are better than they were, worse in the mornings and I’m wondering whether I should just get out there rather than let another week slip by

I would! I have a head cold at the moment. It's when it's on your chest that you rest up. Above the neck I'd go for it. I have felt groggy and had painful ears but feel better once out there as my nose starts to pour. Better out than in. I always take a big hankie out with me 👍🙂 stop to have a good blow then off again i always run with my ears covered, even in good weather
Have a go take it slow and steady like we always did in the 9 weeks and you may surprise yourself what you can do. I had a bit of a sniffle, the usual uunngghh throat thing and I found running wasn't a problem. But then it wasn't sitting on my chest and that may make a difference if you are still congested.
Just go out with no definite target in mind and see what you get done...
Thanks, I gave it a miss today but will try to get out there as soon as soon as possible.
I must admit that the C25K made me more focuseded and motivated.
As the nights draw in and we have dark mornings it’s going to be harder to run near home as I live in a rural area. I don’t fancy running alone with a head torch but maybe I might do some short runs near work, in town, before heading home.
