Thank you all for you encouragment :-). This is a great area for sharing the highs and lows of our running journey.
This morning I awoke to the sound of wind. Not unusual for this time of year but it sounded like it was blowing a gale outside. I figured I'd be better off with a few added extras to my running attire. I grabbed a woolly hat and silk gloves and set off.
The wind wasn't as bad as I thought. However, as strange as I looked I was out the door and warming up. I quite enjoyed myself today. I "good morning'd" a fellow runner and found that spurred me on to keep going. Before I knew it I had one minute left of the final run. Its definately becoming a habit.
As always I ask myself what am I doing up and out at this time in the morning. It still amazes me that I am up and running. I would see other runners and think I could never do that. I'm too big, out of shape and will get laughed at. But it doesn't matter what they think. I'm no longer a couch potato. I'm getting out there.
Roll on week 5.
