Chin up... make sure you feel well and rest assured.. the runs will still be there and you will get back onto the running path!

You just heal and then you come back slowly...:)

Check this post I wrote after I had my calf tear:)

It might give you hope... your mojo hides under your running shoes.. when you put them on..you will find it:)

Heal soon xx

Just be patient Claire.

In the scheme of things it is only a short time, but since I am sidelined from running at present, I sympathise and understand your frustration.

We will help you on your way when you are ready.

Thanks very much 😊

Listen: the only thing that can stop you getting on that podium is you not getting out the door. OK, running when you are sick is no fun. But you will not be back at the beginning. Try a week 2 run when you recover -- I bet you can still do it. Then perhaps one more and off you go. You don't want to stay on the couch. You want to be on the podium!!

I had an awful cold at the end of week 7. I had 2 full weeks off then went straight on to week 8 and smashed it. You’ll be amazed what our bodies can do. Take time to recover properly. I think had I gone out 2 days earlier it would’ve been a different run report xx

in reply to MrsT82

Most definately...hopefully i will be able to feel it when its a good time to get back out xx
