W4R2 in the bag...but not without incident 😳

So I wonder now whether it is a Good Thing to invite a friend to start the Programme at the same time as I am puffing along on W4,R2?

It was lovely to have the company, but while she (fitter than I, that's for sure) jogged along cheerfully for 90secs, I took off like a bullet for my first 3 mins, because I thought I should....BIG MISTAKE!

Then I was so hot that I had to take my jacket off, causing me to drop my phone and lose Sarah's voice for at least 30 secs, aaargh!

Thus flustered I lost the route and we ended up (friend happily following behind) repeating the same path twice, in a glorious Pinetum where I usually follow the beauty of the lakes.

By the time I reached the last 5 min run, my legs felt as if they were someone else's, but I was not going to give up...no way.

This was hard and the moral is, I think, threefold: do not start too fast, do not put phone in jacket pocket and stop showing off to your friend, whose laughter rang out across the wood.

The moral is indeed threefold.

a) do not start to fast

b) do not go too fast

c) do not continue too fast

Slowly slowly slowly

I feel for you... sounds like the sort of thing I would do...πŸ˜†

Its not fair 😐your friend could have struggled a bit moreπŸ˜…..

You did well to finish your run, I have found it easier to run alone as you need to concentrate on keeping your pace correct for you... maybe go off in different directions next time and meet afterwards for the warm down walk and stretch..

Well done for getting your friend started though..😊
