Well tonight’s run was not particularly enjoyable. No idea why, just not feeling the love!! First and last 5 tough as ever, in between bit ok but can’t say I loved it!! Think maybe just a bit tired and also had to take a migraine pill earlier so maybe that’s was it...just dunno 🤷♀️
Maybe Thursday will be better, thought I would go from strength to strength once actually made it!!! 😩

Hey P, if you'd taken a migraine pill that's probably it.... I found running with a headache or nascent one an absolute nightmare... there's something about the pounding of the ground, that doesn't help at all.
Thanks, yes will do, was awake at 5 work 7.30 to 5 then straight out for run as soon as I got home so maybe just too much!! Next time will be a good one!! 😊
You could be worn out after the weekend - that's a whole lot of adrenaline you burnt up! I couldn't run after a really hard day at work, especially with a migraine. Well done for even getting out there!! Many wouldn't bother. But you did. Pretty amazing to me
Graduation doesn't make things magically easier, unfortunately. And if anything progress is slower - and sometimes you even go backwards! But we just keep chipping away and one day you notice that you're now running 10k regularly, or that 5k is no longer an absolutely exhausting challenge, or running for that bus is no problem, or those jeans are just a bit looser, or the friend you haven't seen for a while tells you you're looking great - the list goes on.
But there will always be horrible runs aswell! And the next run is nearly always better!
Very true! I had a hard time after graduating and felt like I was going backwards, but I stuck at it (cos I'd come so far!) and things improved. You talk sense Jayseeskinny!
