I've just finished Week 1 Day 1 - first walk/run, and I feel very optimistic and determined, and inspired by all the comments - thanks folks. (65 and a bit overweight)

Well done you, How fabulous this program is and will make you feel you can see from all the comments on this forum. Keep posting to share how you are getting on. Good, bad, whatever; there will be loads of people on here to cheer on your successes and encourage you when you need it as well as a fountain of experience to draw from. Good luck x

Good....determination is a good word...some runs take more determination than others but you've got it, so keep it & use it & you'll be flying through....yey!!!!

Ooooh you are embarking on the most fascinating and exciting adventure! Well done on achieving run 1 of week 1 - it just gets better and better and it is crazy how quickly this well thought out programme increases your fitness. Just remember to keep a slow (almost walking is fine) and steady pace and breathe deeply and steadily. The rewards are many. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ
