I did this a day later than originally planned. I felt very unwell yesterday but was determined not to give up so I ran today instead.
Today I learnt that running into the wind is hard work! Its also much easier when you have music. My playlist cut out on my last interval today and it definitely made a difference. I am so chuffed that I've managed finish week 1.
I am kind of using this place to note for myself how I am improving. I am keeping track of my progress on fitbit too which gives me a nice little map. My pace has steadily improved over the three runs and although I am apprehensive about starting week two I am determined.
Oh and husband knows now. He had a day working from home and I couldn't hide it!

That's great progress Beatie, we all have to move runs around for one reason or another, you're doing fine.
I'm sure your husband will be supportive of you, we aren't all that bad you know! I know if my wife decided to do this I'd be more than supportive, I'd be pushing her either onto the treadmill or out the door!
Joking aside, you're doing great, remember, slow and steady and breathe.
