Great stuff! Gently gently with the programme, be kind to yourself about pace of progress and hang in there with this forum as it’s the best encouragement, I’m sure you’ll find.
So many amazing words of wisdom and ideas on here that have made all the difference to me - I know it can work for you too, if you’ll give it the chance. Very best wishes - you won’t be a plodder for long 😊

Go steady and slow... you have taken a brave and great decision. Just listen to your body, take your rest days... and make sure you go gently. Some strength and flex may help on rest days too... keep posting for great advice and support too!

I am not sure where you are on the programme, but you haven't given yourself a lot of time assuming you are new to running. It might be sensible to accept that you probably will have to walk some of your event.
There are no safe shortcuts to learning to run, so please follow the programme and always take your rest days, more than one if needed. We have had several fibromyalgia sufferers on here and many report improved pain control after running.
Wishing you the very best of luck.
