After completing wk1 I was looking forward to pushing on, however knee pain has kicked in, never had it before, right leg, just below the knee joint to my left. It is painful even when resting, any ideas of how to relieve it ? So I can get back to running? I am a complete novice to running, so have no idea?

Then.. when you head out, try really hard to land lightly... we do have a tendency to thump down a little bit when we begin your runs... Kiss the ground with your feet... it does start to become habit
Make sure you take your rest days and really take it very very slowly and steadily...maybe try the strength and flex on your rest days too..many if us found these helpful

We do expect aches and pains, when we start.. especially with new exercise... so see how you go... and keep us posted please
Rest it. Sounds like it is pain not just an ache. If so, don't run and if it doesn't go, see a physio. Aches are normal and fine. Pain is not.
Make sure you also have good running shoes properly fitted after gait analysis at a running shop.
