Can you all tell me what iPhone app you are using?
Newbie: Can you all tell me what iPhone app you... - Couch to 5K
Newbie
I'm not using an iPhone app, I use the actual Couch to 5k audio files.
Are these better than an app?
I don't honestly know, I just put the podcast file on my phone for the run I'm doing, I have them all downloaded on my PC, unzipped and ready to go so it's just a case of drag and drop.
I like the podcasts as it includes music, I don't have to think about what playlist I want to really sweat to each time I run, it's simple and outside of work, I like simple.
Give it a try, it can't hurt.
That's my plan sorted thank you all 😃
I'm on iPhone & using BBC C25k app
I have that one downloaded so I will give it s go thank you 😊
I used the downloaded podcasts and the free Nike+ app for tracking, but now that I'm on to the longer runs I'm using Zombies, Run!
Thank you!
hello Lorraine, guess the obvious differences between the podcasts (the audio files)and the app are the podcasts are narrated by one person, Laura, and have music included (which has been described as marmite music..!), the BBC app has a choice of celebrity "trainers" and lets you play your own music in the background.
Let us know how you get on! Good luck!
Thank you! I will try the podcast and let you know how I go! 😇
Lots of us use this...great fun too!
Good luck. ...You'll be amazing! 😁
I used the C25K app with Laura because I didn't know about the other BBC option. The music is a bit "random" to say the least, but if you don't like it, it spurs you on to get through it so you don't have to listen to it anymore!!
I think the NHS C25k app with Laura is WONderful! Her training is exceptional. I can't believe I did this at age 70! It was like she was right there with me while I was running--like she was tapping me on the back when I ran 20 minutes.
Omg seriously? You have gave me so much hope Running was never something I ever envisaged trying but I'm willing to try Well done you!
