Hi all xx so starting it today nervous is my body going to let me do this yikes !! I am so wanting this I want to loose the weight but also want a healthier mind too any tips would be great. What do you all tend to eat before going out ?

I've just done my week 2 run 3 and feel good! I don't have health problems but am unfit! The hardest part is getting out there. Even if you can't run, being in the fresh air and walking is still exercise. Good luck!

Good luck to you Ccc37 on starting C25K and welcome to the forum, before you start running eat a light meal but don't run for about a hour after, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck for your running journey with C25K 😊.

Good luck to you. I’m sure you will get the running bug after the first week. I am a early morning jogger so tend to get up and out after a drink of water 💦 and eat breakfast when I get back. Doesn’t suit everyone so find what suits you.

Hi Ccc37! What a great decision 😀. If I’m running in the morning I have some porridge and half a banana about an hour before. I eat the 2nd half of the banana when I get back. Don’t forget to drink water too. Best of luck, tell us how you get on. 👍👍👍
