All good, though I would recommend lights too. I use a head-torch that also has a red light on the back. All the reflective gear is good but is what it says, reflects light back. With lights even a driver pulling out of a side road will see you.
Well if they don't see you, I am not sure there's much else you can do....
Happy running in your graduation week - how good does that sound?
It's that age old problem - cold when you start out and roasting hot when you finish. In my previous life as a fitness junkie I can remember many times setting out covered in goose pimples as I can't bear exercising when I'm burdened with excess clothes. I always found that if you keep the top half warm the legs look after themselves!
Very good, but even with all that some people still won't 'see' you......OH and I very occasionally run along a very short stretch of rural road without footpaths.......we had the brightest you can get of everything, lights, the lot......we were glowing......but even then a car didn't 'see' me.....hurtling along.....I got that waft of air you get when something is a hairbreadth from hitting you.......π€......more than once.......
Be wary of commuters on their 'same old, same old' track to work......or a 'rat run' .....needless to say we now rarely take this route, even in broad daylight.....good conditions etc.,
Take good care of yourself and pooch, good luck with graduation week!
Still waiting for them to finish building a new Aldi near me. Their running gear often gets a thumbs up on this forum. I might just have to treat myself to a t-shirt to see what all the fuss is about. At the moment I am running in hand-me-downs from mountain warehouse!!
