Week Six, Day Three

Hi All,

I'm just writing to anyone out there that's nervous about doing the 22 minute jog in week six... YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I thought I'd never be able to conquer it but on Saturday I did just that! And I actually really enjoyed the run!

Don't push too hard and just go steady and enjoy it :)

Well done, you are quite correct........it can be achieved.

Can I just ask you which programme you are following which requires a 22minute run for W6R3? The NHS C25K programme has that run as 25 minutes.

Oh yes, it's the active.com Couch to 5K app.

I'm in Australia so didn't really learn of the NHS programme until I found this forum. They are very very similar.

OK, that explains it. The 22 minute run actually makes a lot of gently progressive sense at that point, since the NHS plan does three 25 minute runs in W7.
