Run 1 done 😁

Conquered my excuses (which I am awesome at making) and nailed run 1 today. Feeling super proud and empowered (neither of which I looked panting round the field). Joined slimming world this week too - onwards upwards ! Bring on the fittness! #nomoreexcuses💪.

Well done! I only started this last week too and it's a killer! Very stiff and questioning my sanity! But hopefully like you I hope to keep going if my body holds it together! Well done for starting!

Well done!!

I'm another Slimming World-er. It's a great plan, I've been on it since March and have lost over 3 stone without feeling like I'm dieting too much.

I on week 3 of the running, I wish I'd started earlier as I'm sure it would help my weight loss.

Well done on starting.

Running C25K alone is unlikely to shift much weight but it will firm you up, so take your measurements now and then again in a few weeks time. You will look as if you have lost weight!

This will give you fitness and you will be able to run non stop for thirty minutes by graduation. Self esteem and mental well being will be boosted too and the chances are you will be hooked by running, as most of us are.

This plan can totally change your life, so be prepared and enjoy the journey.

Oh but you did. Those people watching from their couches will have been so impressed - you might even have convinced them that they can do this, too.

More power to you, Dinga. Let us all know how you get on.

Totally agree with sheps those sofa runners of which I was one, look at runners and are impressed. Happy running.

Looking forward to hearing how you get on. It's such a great feeling isn't it?! Prepared to get addicted to that post-run buzz!

This forum is the best place for advice and support - keep posting and happy running!

Thanks for the lovely supportive comments❤ - already looking forward to run 2 - maybe I can swap my addiction to chocolate for running... even if it's running to the shop for chocolate that still counts right??😉
