Completed the 3rd 28 minute run last night but it was the hardest run since the shock of W2. I can't understand why it was so much harder then the other 2 x 28 minute runs.
Anyway a rest day, regroup mentally and onto W9 and a graduation party to mark my 5st weight loss earlier in the year and officially becoming a runner.

I think the longer runs cumulatively affect you just that little bit more now, you've clocked up about 100km in running and if I had my time again, I'd have taken extra rest days in the last 2 weeks.
But hard or not you did it, and graduation week with bling and podiums and partying is waiting for you.
I had a similar experience with the last run of week 7. As Jancanrun said, extra rest days may help - I left an extra day before today's run and I really felt much better today (w8r1). The main thing is that you did complete it and you are so very near graduation now! 🥇 🏃♂️
Running for a longer time, as the seasoned graduates will tell you.. demonstrates how the programme is still building up the leg muscles and also, the stamina and your core strength..
Exercises for Stamina and Core strength are pretty much essential at this stage...on your rest days.... working out a little regime for yourself can be really helpful... We do sometimes neglect this.. I know I have had to up my game a bit, as I still recover form being on the IC!
Just keep it slow and steady.. relax into the runs and enjoy the rest of the journey...
