I loved the WK 3 runs, my favourite so far. I found that WK4 was and still is, I'm on Run 2, is a bit of a shock but if you've followed the program you can do it!!

Slow and steady. Slow and steady. Slow and steady. Slow and steady. Did I mention that you need to go slow and steady?!!

Good luck 😊

Definitely slow and steady I'm sort of a shuffling jog !!! I am enjoying it too not particularly at the time but feel great afterwards , it was pouring with rain this morning but I still got up and out by 0630 as if I don't I find I can't settle into the day as my weekly routine is nt gong to plan ! Maybe this is a good thing !!! Morning definitely my best time whatever the weather :)

What do you wear in the rain?

Hi , I ve got a breathable water proof but to be honest I get so warm it ends up tied around my waist , I'm more bothered about my head as the rain goes in my eyes so I may invest in a baseball cap I think reebok make a running one as I think I bought my daughter one . I can't ask her as this c25k is to surprise her with at wk 9 !

Sounds like it's going really well and you're enjoying it, keep following the programme and take it a run at a time

I seem to run mostly evenings and enjoy that, wipes away the daytime cares

No need for fast! Just be slow as it gets the job done and gets you home in one piece 🙂

Week 3 is a nice foundation week and if you found some extra legs at the end, then who can complain about that? Week 3 builds you for W4, so don't stress about it being a potential massive shock! Let's be honest after Week 1 Run 1 when I'm sure most of us thought '60 seconds, how hard can that be?' and then mid session thought 'OMG how hard is 60 seconds and they want me to do it how many times?', Week 4 is a progression but you will be fine.

Its great you're enjoying your running that helps a lot in the programme

Thank you for all the lovely replies and encouragement this forum really does help a lot for motivation and advice . Jancanrun you are so right about wk1 run 1 , I thought I was going to pass out nearing the 60 seconds !! 2 more week 3 runs :) I m even going to take my running shoes on my holidays as wk5 and 6 shall be spent away ... never thought I'd see myself doing that !!!
