Back after a two year break!

So I'm back on the plan after graduating two years ago. I did the plan with my gentleman friend (now my husband) and really enjoyed it. I even joined the runners at work going for short runs at lunch time which was great.

However, around the middle of last year I had to stop running as I was pregnant and the little miss was giving my pelvis serious pain, I couldn't walk let alone run.

Little Miss arrived safely and is now 10 months old. I've lost over three stone at Slimming World and am now lighter than the last time I did the program. Time for me to get back on the road I think!

I did week 1 with the buggy but have managed to do week 2 and run 1 of week 3 without as Mr G has been at home - this seems preferable. It's quite frustrating being out of puff with the 3 minute runs but I know I'd stick to the plan I'll get there.

I'm hoping to try a park run on week 7. Does that sound sensible?

Welcome back and congratulations on your little one.

Well done you for getting started again ... and losing all that weight!

Obviously you've done this before so you don't need the 'keep it slow' lecture just remember to listen to your body and take care of yourself.

Keep posting so we know how you're doing.

Good luck and happy running!

Thank you!

I'm definitely keeping it slow. That is the main part I remember from last time! I am certainly no speed demon.
