Well having worried about step up in Wk2 I found the running much easier than last week and leg muscles seem to have recovered after 2 rest days. Can't wait for run 2 now - except being a teacher I'm back to school next week and will have to run in the evenings so wonder what difference this will make?

Most of my runs are in the evening and to be honest I quite enjoy it, helps unwind at the end of the day.

Yes already your muscles/lungs will be improving and getting healthier/fitter/stronger, every step up is a challenge but a challenge designed to be achievable though everyone one of us that take this challenge doubt ourselves as we make this journey

Well done for today and onwards and upwards!

Like you I'm back at school next week but starting week 7 I'm going to try to get up earlier and run before going to work. Think I may be too tired at the end of the day!

Have thought about that - but I already have to get up at about 6am to get in to work. Think running g in the evening might help me leave work behind a bit as Rolysmate suggests but think it will be tough getting out there once the evenings get darker!

Yes, I'm unfortunately back at work too after starting this over the 6 weeks hols, I'm hoping to go straight after work otherwise I won't fit it in, not a chance of going before work, I'm definitely not a early morning person 😳
