I was very impressed with the fact that after not having run for 30 years, I managed to do week 1 of C25k last week.
Was coming away for the weekend and travelling yesterday, but decided to do my wk 2 run 1 before I left with my dog.
I was a bit shocked when I realised it was now going to be 90 seconds running, not 60.
I really struggled, tried to focus on each 90 second segment fully, but it was just beyond me. It felt worse than my first run effort last week. I nearly gave up the run and the whole C25k programme.
However, I ran as much as I could manage and completed the session.
Didn't feel great afterwards, as I have been doing, but I didn't give up!
Does everyone struggle with the 1st run of the new week?
Does it get any easier?
Should I repeat week 1 and then step up to week 2 next week?
Any tips would be gratefully received.
