Done it! Fastest pace to boot! (I did need to get back before the other half went to work, which was good motivation for speed!)
Only question is now what?! I can't cope without the app but also cannot bear the idea of repeating week 9 forever more. Anyone know of any apps the speak to you over the music just to tell you how long you've been going etc. What I don't want is loads of motivational guff. Don't get me wrong was very helpful at first but the idea of repeating it over and over again is a bit much!

Well done you! Great feeling isn't it. What I have done is, my clever son, has put together my favorite songs on my phone and I have 'run keeper' playing in the background telling me how far I've run & how fast etc. That works well for me. Good job I've got techi children because I havnt got a clue! 😂
Thanks 🙏 everyone! Great advice getfitok, will try run keeper. I have been using map my walk, because at the beginning of this I didn't think I was worthy of an official running app! So silly I know but there we go, I've no qualms about using running apps now! Xxx
Mapmyrun, integrates to your own music library... I've used it all through the training plan. The free version.
Brilliant, well done you, you're a real life runner!
It's best to consolidate your 30 min runs for a while and then perhaps try the C25k+ podcasts.
Parkruns are also a good idea, there's always people run/walking so it's no problem if don't feel like running to the end ... but you'll probably surprise yourself!
C25k+ Stepping Stones podcasts , which you should run inside out, followed by Bridge to 10k with Sami Murphy, from whom you get no motivational guff, just a kicked ass 😃✔️🏃♀️👍🥂🏅
All three stepping stones podcasts. Get them off pat before bridge they are excellent. Slow paced runs are about leg building i mention that as folks moan it's too slow in places. It's not 😀
You don't need to repeat... but what you do need to do is consolidate the 30 minute runs...you need to build up running legs, stamina and core strength... as misswobble says...it is all too easy to rush on and dismiss building up runs...but they are what build our running legs... and keep us injury free!
Motivational guff you may not want... but consistency is all
