Wow I can't believe I did that. Was a bit worried as I set off as I have been away for a long weekend at a wedding so it's been 5 days since my last run. Amazingly I got to the end, again slow and steady is the way to go. Feel really good about myself now and beginning to think I can get to the end of this programme and call myself a runner! Just hope the 8 minute runs goes as well on my next training day.

It's a brilliant feeling, isn't it! Well done and keep at it. You will get there with the 'slow and steady'. I was where you are less than two weeks ago and I've just completed week 6 - 25 minutes running! - this morning. Can hardly believe it! When you tackle longer runs, go as slow as you can and you'll soon get into a rhythym. Good luck with your next run. I'm sure you'll ace it! ☺

Thank you for your support. Knowing that my slow and steady is the way to go really helps.
