I'm on holiday at my amazing mums house in Hayle. This is the place of my FAVOURITE RUN....

This montage of pics shows why. Running on the beach with the wind in your hair, the sound and sight of the changing sea and all the things to see never fails to lift, excite and heal me in so many ways.

What is your favourite run and why? I would love to hear as I predict we are all very different. If you haven't found it yet then I hope this gives you some inspiration to go out there and find it πŸ’₯

That's looks gorgeous JJ. And you look amazing!

My favourite run is on a trail. It's off the beaten track a bit and is about 6K into the route, down a stony path and then I turn a corner and there is a little cocooned forest. It's very quiet and still and every time I see it I just go "aaah". I find it very soothing and peaceful and it's a very special place.

My all-time favourite run so far though is in Venice but I've only done that once. But I'm still adding to the list πŸ€—

That sounds gorgeous, I love runs like that.... more of an adventure aren't they?

Look at you! I've never run on the beach... an ambition to keep aiming for though :) My favourite route is a long one... still building up to long distances again at the moment though. Being in London but at the inner edge of Epping Forest, I love running out of London past the more populated green fringes into the darker canopied more foresty parts, then through a subway path to the other side of the north circular into narrow weaving trail-y paths with tall trees all around and occasional shrubby clearings. Everything feels very ancient there, and I once saw a muntjac deer :)

Wow that sounds like an amazing run. It must feel so good to run out of the busyness of the city into a more rural landscape. I love the feeling of starting in one place and ending somewhere completely different...

I like everywhere I run πŸ™‚ It might be by the local sewage works but I don't mind. We can't all have the Serengeti outside our window, so make the best of what we have

So, when we do go on holiday it's great to break new ground and take in new sights and sounds. By the sea is even better πŸ˜ƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Your beach looks absolutely wonderful Ju and very energising. It does make us feel rejuvenated! Heightens the senses I think πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

What do you use for your photo montage Ju as I want to do one of my holiday snaps ?

I have an app that you can do pics as montages.... and I've seen your postcard effect, I really like that!! I agree re running, and in fact the sewage works is probably a fascinating place to run!!!! I do love my wooods at home, and I do feel so blessed to have them on my doorstep too....

Looks lovely (nice shorts too!). I loved running up the cinder track at Robin Hoods Bay when I was on week 4 of the programme. When I next go in October Half Term, I will be able to run up the Cinder Path and back down along the beach back to the Village. I am excited just writing this!

I love that feeling!! Isn't it fantastic that we get excited about running in special places, I think it's what makes the world a happier place... variety is the spice of life. It's such a good feeling to do a new route too. I often feel like I'm going on an exciting adventure!!!! And Thankyou too 😎

Oooh definitely Austin, Texas. There's a 12km loop around the 'lake' but actually it is the Colorado River. I always run it at dawn on a Sunday morning when I've flown from Heathrow on the Saturday. It helps recover from jet-lag. It is always humid, often hot, but I get to see the river, Zilker Park, views of downtown Austin, Barton Creek (and the highway I-35 :-( ). And the mist hanging over the ground.

Running tourism... that's the best part of graduating from C25K.

Deeply envious of your favourite running location.

Oh my life that sounds amazing!!!! I would love to do something like that.... the best bit about going on holiday is finding new routes that take you to new places.... and taking it all in with heightened senses, it's just the best....

Love Hayle, love Cornwall, now I need to think where is my favourite run, as I don't have many to choose from.... but in my head I think Vancouver I did a cycle there, so maybe need to save me pennies and return to do a run.

Looks lovely: wide, open and full of possibility. My favourite (only at the mo, tbh) run is through our local, urban, small woods - they make living in miles of tarmac bearable. But I love it when people post sea vistas - I find it aspirational, and helps with the thought of all I have to do to get there. Enjoy the rest of your visit.

Thankyou so much. I'm like you I have a small woods near where I live that I run in at home and I just love it. That's one of the reasons I love it here so much as it's so very different to that....

I have to say I do love a good track, so much to see and keep you occupied isn't there? Variety is good too, and I'm so lucky that my mum lives here 😎
