W9R2 done! Just one run left...

The graduation run is coming up and I'm wondering if I should try and make it special. I have been trying to change things since week 7 but work and family stuff haven't allowed me to alter anything. Running around a 450 m track in the same park I started C25K has been getting so boring I am convinced each run will be my last. The other thing is I want to shift from evening runs to morning ones as the evening ones are interfering with my sleep. My question is should I switch things up for the final run? Will it make it special (as opposed to I-want-to-shoot-myself boring)? Or will it out too much pressure on an already loaded run?

Haha! Indeed.

You know you can run the 30 so why not mix it up? What's the worst that can happen? So it goes t*ts up and you have to run it again? So what? Boring is the enemy of all things good.

Massive congratulations on getting pretty much there, by the way.

Tricky. I tried changing my route and felt completely disoriented! But other people say it's worked for them. I would go with whatever feels right for you - you will do it wherever / whenever! Well done!

I don't think anyones graduation run is boring - it's such a great feeling 😀!! I tried mixing it up about week 7 but I'm afraid I needed consistency and familiarity and so reverted back to my trusty old route for the rest of the programme but we are all different. I can't really advise - all I would say is that it is a really special run wherever you are - wishing you a great run - let us all know how you get on so we can celebrate with you 😀

See what you feel like. You could try to plot out a nice route for your graduation which would be more exciting - but you wouldn't want unexpected distractions or hills to throw you off.

Why not graduate as planned and then keep things fresh by mixing it up a bit - new routes, new distances, new podcasts or your own music or silent running.

Morning runs are just magic - sets you up for the day!

How about running around you usual route the other way ?It's surprising what a change this can make. Whatever you decide, enjoy......you are about to graduate, brilliant achievement 👍🏼😃🏃🏻

I have actually. I sometimes run figure of 8 in the park to kill boredom. But I suspect my schedule is going to dictate the run ....as always😁
