It exists, I'd not heard of it but my GP (who's also a runner) thinks it was- an area just below ankle in my R foot spontaneously went from fine to hot, red, swollen, acutely painful to the point where I couldn't place it on the ground in the space of a few hours. Not nice. What was I doing? Nothing! It just happened. RICE plus naproxen settled it again over the weekend. It's not diet related in the way that normal gout is, apparently. Very strange. Meant I couldn't finish W2 on schedule... I was gutted! However, completed R3 last night with no problems. Phew! Next run W3R1... 5 minutes running? Eeek!

If you don't really know what something is, stick pseudo in front of it!
I'm a pseudorunner 😊
Glad you are feeling better though👍
I think we all agree that this pseudogout can go take a long walk off a short pier...
Week 3 is a cracking week, you did Week 2, so are in good shape for Week 3. Good luck next time out and really hope pseudo doesn't pay a return visit

I would say ensure you hydrate well, warm up and down, then stretch.
It needs to pseudo off😨
